When you sign up on Jesus Creatives (JC), you're agreeing to these terms. Breaking any of these terms may result in the banning of your account, deletion of all your listings and content, and no allowance of re-registering. These terms are divided into 3 groups:
- Everyone: all people who register on JC
- Talent Seekers: those seeking people to help them with their projects in some capacity, paid or free
- Talent: those offering skills and services for free or paid
Everyone:
All persons who register on JC are agreeing to and understand the following terms:
- That, while you do not need to be a Christian (one who believes Jesus Christ is the Son of God, died for our sins, rose again, and is in Heaven, and by believing in Him, we gain entrance to Heaven), you understand that JC's purpose is to invite Christians to join, to find each other to collaborate on projects, and that Christian values are the underlining focus of projects,
- That Christian values generally follow principles of the Bible, namely the New Testament.
In consideration of Christian/Biblical values being promoted, we understand that productions may contain anti-Christian and anti-Biblical topics, in some capacity; and that including any one or multiple such topics may be necessary to further the narrative of the project. We trust that members will craft narratives that, if anti-Christian or anti-Biblical topics are included, are presented in a good faith manner.
Talent Seekers:
When you register on JC, you are agreeing, in good faith, to reach out to Talent sincerely, honestly, and transparently. Talent may decline, for any reason or no stated reason, to join your project; and that if Talent is unresponsive or declines, you will not harass them, besmirch them, try to reach out to them via other online spaces, or spread false information about them.
You are also agreeing to do your best with the following:
- That if you intend to, are, or will be using AI in any form and for any assistance with your production(s), that you state clearly in what manner and in what capacity AI will be used in your project(s) when you initially contact Talent.
- That you will not post about producing fan content or reach out to Talent concerning fan content. Any member attempting to do so, and who are reported and proven to have done so, will have their account and all content deleted from JC. Please see our page concerning fan content.
- That you are up-front concerning payment:
- if there is no payment (free),
- if payment is deferred (such as, if you are running a crowdfunding, or are waiting on your paycheck, etc); and by what expected date, if possible, you will be paying talent,
- or, if there is payment, how much (royalties, flat rate per script, episode, etc), when Talent is paid, by what method Talent will be paid, etc.
- That you are up-front concerning contracts:
- If there will be a NAVA AI Rider contract (or other AI protections contract),
- if you are not intending to provide any AI protections,
- contracts that outline the Talent's work, the Talent's turn-around time for their work, what the Talent will be paid, how they will be paid, and when they will be paid,
- If or what re-dos, touchups, retakes and such the Talent will be required to submit,
- and any other relevant information, such as timeframes/schedules, communication requirements, meetings, etc.
- That you have a proper summary/outline of your project and send that information to the Talent with your initial communication (collectively known as a Pitch or Breakdown). Such information may contain:
- A summary of the story/plot,
- If there are any PG13 type elements to it, such as vulgarity, language, etc,
- Your current situation of progress: if you are ready for art, voice actors, etc. Where you're at,
- Any useful sketches, storyboard previews, animatic previews, demos, website(s), social media accounts, visual stills, and so forth,
- Clearly listing what you're looking for for the Talent to do: background art, voice acting, audio engineering, project management, etc.
- That if you're searching for voice actors, that you will not reach out to and/or cast voice talent before you're ready:
- Have a script finished or in the very final stages,
- That voice talent should not have to wait months before a script is ready,
- That you have your entire creative team onboarded, so that voice actors aren't waiting months for you to find the other people you need for production,
- That if you list roles as paid, that you have the funds and voice talent won't be waiting long periods to be paid,
- That all of your assets are ready: contracts, scripts, and/all artwork, and so forth.
We understand that most projects will be in varying states of 'readiness'. This entire outline is to ensure that Talent (of all types) aren't waiting a very long time for any movement of your production. You are the one hosting & creating the production, so you are in charge of finding all assets and team members required in good order, so your production will commence well.
Talent:
When you register on JC, you are agreeing, in good faith, to fill-in as much information pertaining to your skills/abilities, rates, portfolio materials, etc as is realistic for where you're at; and you're agreeing to do so with only your assets & materials (no AI, no plagiarism, no stealing of other Talent's creations). You also understand, and agree, that if a Talent Seeker reaches out, and at any point (for a stated reason or not), stops communicating with you, that you will not harass them, besmirch them, try to reach out to them via other online spaces, or spread false information about them.
You are also agreeing to do your best with the following:
- That, in your portfolio/profile, if you intend to, are, or will be using AI in any form and for any assistance with your artistic Creations (hereby known as "Creations" collectively, for any form of artistic expression), that you state clearly in what manner and in what capacity AI will be used or was used. EX: If posting artwork pieces, and AI was used, each piece is required to list how/what AI was used in it's creation. If posting audio or video-based pieces, AI explanations are required just the same.
- That you will not post portfolio materials with the subject/focus of fan pieces. EX: if a voice actor, your samples or reels cannot be of 'fan voices of xyz franchise roles I can do'; or if visual creations, cannot be of franchise characters or videos of fan comic dubs and so forth, etc. To keep it simple: all portfolio Creations should be original.
- That you won't reach out to Talent Seekers asking if you can work in their production,
- That you do not ghost Talent Seekers after being paid for any services you have not yet provided that you agreed too (and can be proven you agreed to those terms); if proven you have done so, your account and all materials will be deleted and you will be permanently banned.
- Generally, that you communicate clearly, professionally, and completely, as needed.
We understand that Talent often find themselves in 'go nowhere' projects. Therefore, the terms above are an attempt to ensure that Talent sticks up for themselves, while also not taking advantage of Talent Seekers. If Talent has taken advantage of a Talent Seeker (such as taking an upfront payment and not providing the agreed-to service after an agreed-to date), and there is proof of such, the Talent will be permanently banned from JC. To keep it simple, please be honest and professional.
This list may be updated at any time. By being a member, you are agreeing to any and all updates to this list. Last updated 2026/04/14
If you have any questions or need clarity regarding anything in these Terms, please submit this form. Our submissions are kept internally in our database, so there is no chance a submission won't get to us. Thank you.
